CILR first started out in 2001 and was formally incorporated in 2002.
The Council for Innovation and Learning Regina (CILR) was a non profit organization located in Regina, Saskatchewan. Its mandate was to encourage the use of new and emerging technologies in the not for profit sectors.
Through its network of volunteers and professionals it was able to provide a wide range of assistance and advice to other non profit organizations as it related to information technology.
Membership in CILR included professionals, educators, businesses and others interested in working to promote the use of new and emerging technologies in the non profit sectors.
